ON JUNE 8−12, 2023, THE KETTARI FOUNDATION ORGANIZED THE COLLABORATIVE EXHIBITION "OUR TIMES,"
CURATED BY KHATUNA KHABULIANI AND ELICHKA NADAREISHVILI.
The exhibition's concept revolves around the perceptions and impressions of the current era that post-Soviet Georgian artists, and not only artists, must navigate. The venue, located at Agmashenebeli 139, was once the Institute of Parasitology, symbolically echoing the attempt to view old spaces in a new light and assign them different meanings. Additionally, a key objective of the concept is to introduce art into alternative spaces, filling voids with the language of images.
This exhibition features two works by Tamar Gedevanishvili: "Where Is The Limit?" and "I Hear Your Voice." Each work comprises a 6-part panel created with acrylic on cardboard.
Participating artists: Tamar Gedevanishvili, Manuchar Okrostsvaridze, Murtaz Shvelidze, Oleg Timchenko, Ilia Balavadze, Gega Kutateli, Vakho Bughadze, Zura Abkhazi, Tedo Rekhviashvili, Tamar Khmiadashvili, Archibald Kordzaia, Kote Jincharadze, Valo Frank Mason, Davit Kukhalashvili, Pako Shvelidze, Giorgi Chankotadze, Davit Akeksidze, Avtandil Ghakhokidze, Merab Varchanadze, Guram Tsibakashvili, Ruska Zviadadze, Giorgi Areshidze, Salome Elanidze, Giorgi Gagoshidze.
